Having recently enjoyed a 3-day Colour Cleanse we decide to check in with Jess to see how she got on, here's what she had to say.
Before starting a juice cleanse, it’s a good idea to think of the reasons why you want to do it, and how it will benefit your body and mindset. I decided to try the Daily Dose Colour Cleanse
to help refocus the view I had on my diet and approach it with a fresh mind. The Colour Cleanse
was a perfect choice, as it allowed me to have more fruity options to maintain my sugar levels, whilst getting in those great greens we all need.
The first day of the cleanse is always exciting, as you get to discover all of the different flavoured juices Daily Dose have to offer on your particular chosen course! If like me, you love to start your morning with movement, I would encourage you to choose some lighter exercise such as Pilates or Yoga, to make sure you’re not pushing yourself too much for the duration of the cleanse.
Whilst on the cleanse, it’s important to stay hydrated and flush your body with lots of water - trust me, hydration = energy! It’s also key to trust the course and remind yourself why you’re doing it. You may experience cravings (such as those cheeky evening snacks!), however, make sure to be aware of the cravings in those moments, and remember how balanced you’ll feel once the course is complete.
Now that I have completed the course, I personally achieved what I set out to achieve - for example, my mind now craves sugar from natural/healthier sources, such as fruit and sweeter vegetables. The evening cravings are far and few between, and my view on my diet has been reset.
I truly recommend trying a cleanse from Daily Dose, particularly if you want to reset your mindset on the foods you’re currently eating! Luckily there are a lot of cleanses to choose from, so you can pick the perfect one for you.
